With 25 years of camaraderie preceeding, the trio formed over sets at Oxford’s short-lived Lamar Lounge. This was after George and Tyler’s time in The Preacher’s Kids, at one time sharing a drummer with Blue Mountain which Laurie co-founded. With Tyler’s Neckbones they held sway over the south. awesome stuff. enjoyable. I cab remember hearing most of these guys in their other respective bands on the KQ homegrown show (a show sorely missed in the twin cities, sorry current), and seeing a lot of those same bands at the turf. anyway nicely done. not a bad track on the album. jphillipm
